1. Prepare your hair: After washing and towel-drying your hair, apply a heat protectant spray. Section your hair to make it easier to manage.
2. Start with wet hair: The ghd Duet is designed for wet-to-styled hair, so ensure your hair is damp.
3. Turn on the styler: Turn on the ghd Duet and allow it to heat up.
4. Dry and style each section:
5. Place the styler at the root of a section of hair.
6. Hold it there for a few seconds (2-3 seconds) to allow the airflow to dry the roots.
7. Slowly glide the styler down the hair shaft.
8. Repeat this process 2-3 times on each section for best results.
9. Use Shine Shot (optional): For added shine and definition, activate the Shine Shot mode by pressing and holding the dedicated button. Shine Shot heats the plates to 185°C and can be used on dry hair.
10. Continue until all hair is styled: Repeat steps 4 and 5 until your entire head of hair is dry and styled.
