• Start with dry, detangled hair

• Apply a heat protectant spray

• Turn on the tong and allow it to heat up (to optimal 185°C)

• Section your hair for easier styling

• Wrap a medium section of hair around the barrel, clamp facing down

• Hold for 5–8 seconds, then release

• Repeat around the head for full curls

• Let curls cool, then gently brush out or finger-comb for soft waves

• Finish with a light mist of hairspray for hold
